Reclamation Announces Draft EA Available for the Acquisition of Land Adjacent to San Justo Reservoir

Sacramento, CA - The Bureau of Reclamation announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the purchase of a 41.56-acre parcel of land from Mr. John Hubbell, which is adjacent to San Justo Reservoir, part of the San Felipe Division, Central Valley Project. The purpose of the land purchase is to compensate the landowner for the loss of the land use due to landslides caused by the seepage of water from the San Justo Reservoir. The San Justo Reservoir is federally owned and managed by Reclamation.

The Draft EA was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and is available for a 30-day public review and comment period.
