DC The Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure today approved and reported
by voice vote the Water Resources Development Act of 2007 (H.R.1495). This action comes one day after the bill was
approved by the Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment. This legislation, known as WRDA, authorizes

James L. Oberstar (Minn.), Chairman of the Committee. WRDA legislation has been considered in the last three Congresses, but not one bill has been enacted in the past six years.
