Pojoaque, NM -- Governor Bill Richardson today announced the state will provide
more than $1.3 million in capital outlay for priority economic development
and community projects for Pojoaque and Nambé Pueblos. The Governor made
the announcement during news conferences in Pojoaque and Nambé.
“The critically needed projects we’re funding directly address the statewide priorities the legislature and I agreed upon,” said Governor Richardson. “The money will pay for important tribal facilities, water and sewer systems, law enforcement facilities, senior centers, and health care facilities. These projects will help drive economic development and create jobs for New Mexicans.” Here’s a summary of the capital projects: Pojoaque
